But wait…No, Medication for ADHD?!!
Anthony already takes a lot of medications for his cystic fibrosis. I prefer to explore natural remedies versus medications for his hyperactivity to help make our daily lives easier.
In addition, I designed a medical passport book using colorful paper that Anthony can stamp daily to earn rewards and allowance.
This medical passport book not only helps Anthony celebrate his small victories but also enables us to track his progress and behavior.

Creating a colorful chart helps your child see the fun activities that await them during the week. Include some family reading time and incorporate a first-and-then chart to assist your child along the way.
2. Visual Schedules and Reminders: Decorated Corkboard
Create daily or weekly schedules using colored sticky notes or markers. This method clearly represents upcoming tasks and appointments.
Since it was Fall time, he decided to decorate it with more stickers!

A year before the Fall Book Club was born, the summertime came and out rolled the Good Behavior and Reading Cards book club. My sons, one niece, and two nephews earned stickers for good deeds and simply for listening to and reading stories at the book club.
We met twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturday nights for book club fun. At the end of every chapter book, we had multiple activities and fun parties, along with a craft to make related to the story.
We made plays out of the books and kept things lighthearted. I miss those times!

Homework is no joke! As a private English tutor, I always ensured my students completed their English homework. If the homework and chores are not done, no pass!
That is the rule here, and it works flawlessly. It’s a great reminder to ask permission before using or taking something for Anthony.
28. DIY Book: Make A Play From A Story!
Where is my toe?! My niece and nephew love the stories retold in “Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark,” by Alvin Schwartz and illustrated by Stephen Gammell. I have fond memories of growing up reading these stories, so nostalgia hits pretty deep.
I got the idea for this book when Anthony and Nathalie mentioned that they would love to make a play out of their favorite story, in which the narrator would instruct the audience on what was happening.
We are still rehearsing the play and plan to make a mini movie out of it to post to my MLindawrites Instagram page.
29. Motivational Quotes Positive Mini Banner Cards TNBC Edition
Sally is one of my favorite Disney characters because she’s different. I admire her strength and courage, and how she puts up with Jack is beyond me, haha. I love to wear a smile because it helps to comfort others.
