Two years ago, I had the pleasure of emailing Rod after discovering his life-changing organization. I donated two of Anthony’s CF vests to this organization, which no longer fit him.
I recently reconnected with Rod via Instagram and was happy he continues his mission and how much it has grown! When Anthony’s current vest no longer fits, I plan to donate it to his organization.
Backstory to Rod’s Global Business Helping Others
However, this organization started in early January 2020 when a woman in Chile who had never met Rod contacted him directly on social media.
Another cystic fibrosis patient in Lebanon, whom Rod had never met, contacted him via social media.
After posting the ask on Facebook, a young lady from Ohio kindly offered to donate her vest.
Rod then realized he could donate independently, which started the powerful mission of CF vests worldwide to help others.

Between countless pharmacy calls, doctors’ visits, tune-ups, and numerous medications, the list can feel never-ending.
Numerous medications are taken daily to thrive and remain healthy. I know this because my son Anthony has cystic fibrosis.
It’s the silent disease because you can’t see it, but can feel it.
Vest therapy is one of the main therapies for breaking up the mucus caused by cystic fibrosis. It allows the lungs to expand, removing this sticky mucus.
The treatments are usually done twice daily for 30 minutes with intervals, but they can be up to four times a day in the hospital.
